Exploratory journeys in space and time

In 2019, we celebrated the 250th anniversary of Alexander von Humboldt’s birth. On this occasion, the Hungarian National Museum and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences also commemorated - in two sessions - the influential German traveler, explorer and naturalist who contributed authoritatively to the "survey of the world", modern empirical geography and exact natural and for the development of the social sciences.
