The large book on the artistic life of Pécs after the change of regime presents the work of successive generations of artists who created and were connected to the city, and the fact that it is comparable on a European scale. The work of each artist is accompanied by thorough studies and references to sources, as well as reproductions of their works. With the publication of the book containing nearly 300 black-and-white documents, Hungarian fine arts, which can be mentioned together with the unique cultural past of Pécs, art history literature is enriched with a work of significant professional value.
